Over the past decade, India has been making rapid strides particularly in economic growth. Policy interventions, capital infusion, massive investments in infrastructure, leveraging technology and building a unique and innovative digital public infrastructure stack have led to India become the fifth largest economy, uplifting more 25 crore people through wealth creation, strengthening banking sector, driving significant growth in revenues, defence exports, creating capital assets through airports, seaports, highways, railways, metro rail etc.

To build on this, India has embarked on an ambitious manufacturing capacity and capability drive, particularly in building a robust semiconductor ecosystem. This is in line with government’s focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat and making India a manufacturing hub. Further, Government has been emphasizing on women led development even as we progress towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047. As part of this focus, Government launched ambitious schemes aimed at enhancing economic activity in aspirational districts and rural India. This has led to significant rise in women entrepreneurs and a surge in global capability centers in tier 2 and 3 cities.

CII IQ flagship event Excellence Summit 2024 aims to show case this rapid rise of India through its quality journey.  The theme of 32^nd Excellence Summit is “Driving Competitiveness: Excellence for Sustainable Growth”, focusing on several sessions covering:
